Taking payments
per transaction
- Applies to invoice payments and shop orders paid through Class Ready.
- Nothing to pay if you invoice by bank transfer or link to your own shop.
- Stripe's own card processing fees are charged separately by Stripe and are not included in this figure.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Running your school in Class Ready — classes, registers, students, forms, messaging and your public page — costs nothing per month. There is no setup fee and no minimum term.
What do I need to take payments?
Connect your school to Stripe from your settings. Once connected, parents can pay invoices and shop orders online and payments land in your own Stripe account.
Can I use my own uniform shop instead?
Absolutely. If you already use a third-party uniform supplier you can simply link out to their page rather than selling through Class Ready — and there is nothing to pay.
Do parents pay anything extra?
No. Parents pay the amount on the invoice or shop order. The fee comes out of the payment on your side.
How does this work with Show Ready?
One sign in works across both. When you build a show microsite in Show Ready you can import your classes and students straight from Class Ready — no re-typing.
